Frame Stutter despite locked 60fps with perfect 16.6ms frametimes
I'm going crazy with this. It's not camera pan stutter. Camera movement in all directions is butter smooth without a single hiccup. The moment I look at a wall and slowly move left or right, the textures on the walls look jittery and almost all scenery/terrain has these micro stutters when moving my character. Doesn't happen in campaign. The perfect test is private match on Invasion the default map. Slowly strafe left for example and focus your eye on the wheel of a car. The wheel has these weird warping/flickering stutters that make 60fps looks more like 42fps. I don't know how else to describe it.

It looks like if screen tearing and rubber-banding had a baby because it's neither one of those things but looks more like both of them happening at the same time creating this new type of terrain stutter I haven't seen since fallout 4 and fallout NV.

I had some stuttering last night in Zombies. I had a crash also after a stutter. Lost all my cheese lol

strange. For me it's hard to classify it as a stutter. I don't know exactly how to describe it. If I look at graffiti on a wall on a multiplayer map and simply move left, the graffiti looks like its stuttering while I'm moving. It's like my frametimings are off and don't match my refresh rate but they do and are perfect down to a T so this issue literally doesn't make any sense to me. Come to think of it though, I had this exact same issue with Cold War, it was never ever fixed. Must be an engine thing. MW2009 is buttery smooth when I move left or right, no stuttering terrain or scenery.

Have you tried vsync? If its on turn it off, if its off turn it on. Test and see if that helps

yeah right under graphics>>>>>display, try messing with vsync (gameplay).

ohhhh yeah I spent at least 2 hours yesterday messing with tons of different combinations of stuff like in-game Vsync, NVCP Vsync, RTSS on, RTSS off, framelimiters on/off etc. I always use NVCP vsync at lock to 60fps in RTSS for perfect frametimes. In every other game I've ever played this combo is perfect.

Also, I just tested on my series X and my nitro 5 laptop, both have the exact same issue!! So at least now I know it's not a "just my pc" thing.

Thats good news that its not suspected a hardware issue on your end. Sucks you have to deal with that. Hopefully they drop a patch soon and can resolve many of the issues plaguing everyone
