Every lobby i join has Cheaters

I play this game casually since i was a kid and when i play with my friends everything is fine but when I try to play solo domination I have people staring at me through walls on there way to me for me to see them jump out already aimed at my head I get a few shots and I'm dead. I have been sharing my screen on discord with my friends to show them and it's literally every game i play on multiplayer. I have tried looking up what's going on but I can only find a few articles talking about the beta the hackers giving out free trials and stuff but not really much else. I'm just trying to grind camos and I have to deal with cheaters in every lobby I join. Did I do something wrong? I just want to know what's going on.

like you said I too have experienced a fair and challenging experience so far in MW3 most of the time, yeah there was a few matches where I reported a few players here and there but nothing major.

ricochet is banning people and you see all the "banned for no reason" threads.

ofc cheaters will always find ways of circumvent anticheat but the key factor is to keep them low in numbers.

games without anticheat turn into cheat paradise pretty fast, at least here they try something.
sure it might not always be enough but better than nothing.

I tell you without anticheat you would meet cheaters 80% of the time, with anticheat is down to 20-30% roughly.
when it´s more than that it fails.

they just need to keep update ricochet in a timely manner to avoid the worst.

So far I've noticed that the cheaters run in groups - so it tends to be similar names, or the same group of people together which is handy because if they are in a lobby, suspect gameplay begins and I can report them and get out.
I blocked a few but that doesn't really stop the game from matching them with me.
I would publicly state their names but I would get banned for doing that for some reason

i noticed aswell a few cheaters are using the tag "TTV" i searched a few they had and they were livestreaming on twitch with there cheats visible... kinda ridicolous

As a US Citizen, I will say that no one will ever receive jail or even be cited for cheating in a online game. The closest thing to ever be considered a criminal offense would be if they cheated in a tournament and said tournament paid the winner/cheater as they would be fraud. Other than that, no way cheating in COD would ever be considered a criminal offense.

Fact: People are cheating. I've had Activision confirm action was taken against someone I reported.
Report as many suspected cheaters as you can people.

Can't say if there is a cheater every game but let be honest the anti cheat is as protective as those "Prove your not a robot" tests on websites

Wow, just left a DMZ match and one player with a single plate that was being hammered by my 7.62, somehow places 12 perfect shots in me after being hammered. Yup, we are in another free cheats weekend, no doubt about it.

didn´t say there are no cheaters, only that so far in MW3 I haven´t see that many obvious ones, maybe I was lucky I don´t know...

I think they are more in warzone and DMZ now tbh but things can change, if they don´t keep up with ricochet it´s gonna be real bad again in every game/mode.
