FIX RANDGRID.SYS ERROR
This is a permanent fix for this annoying error caused by dev incompetence.

From u/rinkoplzcomehome on reddit

"Found a solution that doesn't require you to reinstall windows, or partition a drive only to put the randgrid.sys file into it.

Open Registry Editor

Go to the Edit tab on the top left corner

Select "Find"

Enter the following name to search: atvi-randgrid_sr

This will take a while to search

Once the search is finished, you will be on a window with 5 registries. Right click on the one named "ImagePath"

Select "Modify"

Paste the new address of the randgrid.sys file into the text field. Leave the "\??\" part at the start!

Click on "OK".

Launch the game.

You will probably have to agree the terms again and log in again, but this fixes the issue."

Too add, when copying the file path, it will add " when you paste. delete those, and it will work.

then you didn't do it right
can you make a Video?
Didn't help, apparently the problem is not related to "randgrid", the game just crashes without rebooting the pc
Anyway, for those who play through ms store (xbox game pass) you need to search for "atvi-randgrid_msstore"
Didn't help for me :( my pc still restarts mid game.

it shouldn't need rebooting..............the issue is the game thinks the game file is located on another drive, and it needs the randgrid to launch the files (i assume, as you can see in the video, the error files specify randgrid)

Different error, this won't fix the bluescreens caused by the same driver

It’s says absolutely nothing, like “successfully start cod launcher” or something like that
No errors or crash reports

Not a permanent fix for some, permanent is turning off Kernel-mode Hardware-enforce Stack Protection, but you'd leave your system vulnerable just to play a mediocre season.. Windows calling their anti-cheat software trash

after doing this
Open Windows Defender and go to Virus and Wonder Protection settings.
Then add “RANDGRID.SYS” by adding exclusion. I was able to fix this. I'm Japanese, so please excuse me if my sentence is strange.
