Game is crashing entire computer since update
Since the update, my friend's system completely crashes when playing zombies. This was not happening yesterday, we've tried reinstalling all drivers and even the game, still hard crashes the PC. Does anyone else have this, is there any fix?

Friends, I have the same thing, the Xbox PC version, the PC freezes and restarts when I just want to exit the game, and also when I start to log in to the server, both in multiplayer and in the warzone itself. I'm just shocked by this!

yeah same here BSOD kernal trap mode, managed to get through the loading etc, but the moment i load into a map, BSOD again, guess ill just wait for them to fix their game.

I did a little digging. It seems this my more widespread then I thought. They seem to be investigating with crashes with AMD GPUs, but I heard people with Nvidia GPUs are have similar problems.

last time for me that i will buy a COD game
thit have some problems also with modern warfare 3 and ended refunding the game

Intel and Nvidia here also .. BSOD when trying to "restart to apply update" .... Last time an update presented a similar issue i was able to play via battlenet still , then a few days later a 3mb update on Steam fixed the problem.. This time however even Battlenet is crashing to BSOD

Well at least I know may case is not an isolated incident. I'm using R9 7950X and a 4090, so there is not excuse for this game to not work. Hopefully this will be patched soon.

I just have AMD 5600x system and GPU Nvidia 4070

Nvidia same issue. DirectX issue.

Update, I no longer need to "restart to apply update" IE no crash/BSOD . Connects and goes to COD HQ fine.. Only COD titles I own are BO6 and MW2.. BO6 Zombies seems fine, BO6 multi seems ok . Warzone checked out, however MW2 multi and DMZ still crash my PC when selected from COD HQ .. I didn't see any update but somehow COD is partially working, lol

I did notice MW2 multi and DMZ crashed when launching an intro video. Seems odd since these game modes have not had new content in ages. Misplaced files ?

Same here... Had the same problem during the last major update... They released a patch the next day... And then it ran flawlessly untill today... season 2. Guess they can't learn from their mistake... I was about to maybe purchase the battlepass for the first time... they can forget it. Can't wait for battlefield 2025!

From a tech view... I checked the integrity of the game files ok. Reloaded shaders 2x... still crashing exactly when the countdown finishes and the map is about to start... The computer simply reboot...
