I dearly miss the times of CoD MW2 (2022)
Hey. I would like to write some words.

CoD 2022 was my first ever big CoD, especially because it had DMZ, which to me seemed like a free Tarkov-like game, available on Playstation.
I fell in love by the end of second hour, and later even purchased Full Game.

During that CoD, I played all of game modes, and was happy with most of the stuff, except some balancing of DMZ.

One of the things I enjoyed especially was that the game was much slower, compared to original Warzone. CoD 2022 didnt have ninja-squirrel jump-slide, and you could not rely only on your reaction and aim and you could not be John Week. It required planning, strategy, knowledge of map and how to position yourself so that you get terrain superiority over your enemy.

I tried once or twice to play the OG Warzone, but I was annihilated by people who drink their own sweat.

I liked all game modes in MW2, and felt that Activision spent equal amount of effort into all of them.

I also liked that guns had a punch, which in later CoDs was changed. Because heavy guns felt heavy, and to utilize their potential, it required skill and determination to tame them.

I also really like, that first 4 season (out of 5) mostly had grounded mil-sim skins. And game actually felt like a simple, arcade game about war, not circus-shooting-clown-warfare.

Yes, I know about season 5, the Halloween season. But it is kinda understandable. Also, Zombie PvP horde mode in that Halloween was amazing. I wish they kept this mode forever.

Anyway here is a funny video when CoD 2022 sent me to Backrooms during limited time mode “50 humans versus 50 infected”

CoD HQ is the worst thing that has ever happened to CoD. Totally agree.
And I did not have any performance issues cos I play on PS5 and CoD devs really like it as a platform. It is most profitable, after all.
