Black Ops 6 Packet Burst With High End PC is Completely Unplayable
I've tried everything out there. I'm running a 7800x3D, 4080 Super, B650 mobo, 32gb DDR5 Ram, and I have 1.5GB/sec fiber internet. I used to play on highest settings with 150 fps. Now, for the past month, I have a packet burst symbol and fps drops from 130 to 40 every 3 seconds and I slingshot everywhere on the map. I've tried lowering settings, tweaking back-end files, cleared cache, deleting/re-downloading app, updated all drivers, restarted internet, and tried all the common YouTube "fixes". Every other game in my library runs flawlessly. Anyone have any other ideas????

its just the server bro everyone else have that issue too and nobody has a fix for it. they all say you have to change settings but it doesnt matter what chip you have or what graphic card youre using.
my game is almost unplayable with the packet burst and no recommendations from online videos have helped.

thats a high end pc?? LOL
Its not you ...it the game
Not just you bro, I'm in the same boat. Ryzen 7 5800x3d, 4070ti, and ive already tried everything. I reached out activision support. Did everything they said and they couldnt figure anything out so they told me to contact my ISP. So I did, and to no avail... my ISP couldnt find anything wrong. I reached back out to Activision support and pretty much they told me to submit a bug/feedback report and they gave me (2) 2XP 30min tokens and (2) 2XP 30min Weapon tokens and said best of luck...
Lol everyone is wrong!!! All w gotta do is buy that pack for 80$ and it will send you a 110 gb update one updated it will ask update requires restart after that boot up and good to go problem solved. Don't have to thank me lol
packet burst has to do with your internet connection I think. If you're internet is slow, you'll get packet burst. Also the servers are kinda crap as well.
What type of memory storage you using? With texture streaming you gotta be running M.2. SATA and heaven forbid HDD cant handle it.
Why did you go with a AMD cpu and a Nivedia gpu? Im curious because i would see unforseen complications between the drivers and create an unstable system. The situation that you are in might be unique due to your hardware.

Honestly, I didnt have this problem until the newest update S1 Reloaded. Before that i was hitting a consistent 140+ fps. And previous Call of Duties as well, I had no problem running those games with my AMD cpu and Nvidia GPU
lower your Vram Usage to 50-60% to stop the FPS Drop. But for the Packet burst it all Activision fault for renting cheap servers.
I see that packet burst thing all the time too even after I upgraded my internet to fiber. I don't rubberband though.

Its the activision servers. It has nothing to do with your setup. This issue was pretty infrequent prior to last 2-3 weeks. Now EVERYONE is getting it. It's the server issue.
meanwhile dev's are working on bo7 so be patient
