Who else is already bored in the BETA?

I played MW 2019 A LOT (crazy amount of hours) ... and was really looking forward to this game, however, I was bored in day 1 of the BETA. I think I have 2-3 hours total and figured that ... as much as I enjoyed MW2019, I can't justify dropping $70 for MW2. (i'm still feeling burnt from buying Vanguard)

I do play alone however (Solo), and MW2 is just feeling like too much of the same damn thing, just a different skin on it ... and then add the fact that it isn't a game where you can build some kind of relationship with people due to a lack of lobby searches, LFG, disbanding lobbies, etc.

For folks who have turned off the BETA to go play something else, what do you think are some deciding factors? I'm not enjoying the gunplay and visibility (literally cant see anything when i'm shooting, and some kills are feeling like a pray and spray with aim assist, as opposed to actual satisfying kills).

I'm just going to issue the refund, and wait for a sale. (and no, this isn't a money issue, but after buying games like Vanguard and KOF15 at full price, I just can't justify continuing that cycle if I'm not wow'd). I am a casual player too, I am not some cracked out streamer, and have no intention of ever playing like that in my life.

What people who liked MW 2019 want from MWII is an evolution, not a revolution. They don't want an entirely different game, what they want is a game that takes MW 2019 and makes the next step. New maps, new guns, new modes, new setting, and a new fresh coat of paint. That's what MWII is looking like so far, MWII is also bringing some different bigger modes like Warzone 2 and DMZ. Time will tell if these are going to be hits like WZ.

I fear that people who are disappointed were expecting something completely revolutionary, but that was never going to happen. If you tempered your expectations and realized that MWII was going to be largely like MW 2019, but with new additions, I don't think people would be as disappointed as they are. The issues you mentioned like disbanding lobbies and the rest were all issues MW 2019 had as well.

Just watching the gameplay on YouTube was boring enough. Just when you think perhaps they will innovate; nope, just the same copy and paste game again...

I'll wait to see it on PC with better graphics than a 5700x which is basically what PS5 has....and then YT scales the resolution down even more.

You may be right... you may just be bored with the amount of content they decided to show off for the beta.

You'll probably get the itch down the road and when you do it may just be on sale (march at the earliest) so even better. god speed...but me....i have this dumb/unhealthy/unjustifiable completionist thing with weapon unlocks/skins for warzone, i envy you.

All that said though i am looking forward to it, it looks like a breath of fresh air compared to vanguard.

I'm all for giving feedback as long as it's proper feedback. I remember the disastrous Battlefield 2042 "beta" (demo) almost exactly a year ago, it was rightfully completely shat on by myself and thousands of others. From what I've seen, the feedback is pretty terrible for this game. It's no wonder IW just refuse to listen to anything these people say.

I'm sure you've heard of the popular saying that COD is always the same every single year, and that used to be true in the early 2010s, but the last couple of CODs, specifically MW 2019, BOCW, and Vanguard, couldn't be more different from each other. COD is a very unique franchise, in the sense, that you have 3 different developers working on a release in a 3 year cycle, these developers all have different visions on what makes a good COD game. So what ended up happening was the fanbase of COD got spliced up and divided into sections. You have the fans who prefer the more gritty IW games, then you have the other section who prefer the more arcade Treyarch games, and then you had a very small section who liked Sledgehammer's games for whatever reason. These sections expect every COD games to be what they want it to be, they'll get disappointed when that inevitably doesn't happen.
