My call of duty keeps crashing no matter what ode i am going into

can anyone help i follow a youtube video but it didnt work

They again released a buggy update... I have the same problem. Last time I had crashes was after they released the game but it was a huge problem for everyone. This studio is not worth our money

I've just tried again. Imagine buying this Pay-to-Win skin pack for S04, I would be fuming spending more money on a game that is broken lol

For me, the following solved the issue: I have OneDrive active on my computer and COD saves files in the CallOfDuty folder under "Documents". This folder is in my OneDrive account.
Can work: Right click: "Always keep on computer".
What solved for me: delete this folder. Next time I ran cod I had to set up brightness, optimization etc, but it is working.

I went into the steam directory files and deleted the "shadercache" folder and that worked for me. No idea how, but now I don't even want to play.

This is not a new thing, just a more common thing... What would be GREAT, is when the game glitches, your inventory isn't lost, and the "Inventory instance" WAS ACTUALLY ACCURATE!!! Even if starting a fresh game, sometimes you select your gear and start with nothing. This is getting horrible, losing all your stuff, just to start a new game w/out it, then you lose all that stuff too, and you didn't even die, the game just crashed, AGAIN. This should be fixed and is horrible for a game we paid actual money for... It's not like it's Fallout New Vegas, or is it....?!?!?!?!?!?

That would be great because the game has actually gotten better.

And if I am able to play it makes fun but once it crashes it kinda takes the fun with it..

I tried almost all I can - I thinks what we’re facing here is some kind of Hardware issue. I tried to replace my RAM without success. All the drivers up to date and no ingame overlays are active.

It’s naked Windows 10 with all the necessary software and just the game so that’s why I think of a hardware issue.

Would be great to play this game without errors because like I said it makes actually fun 👍🏻

I am afraid that if the error persist that I won’t be able to play Modern Warfare III.. I mean I cannot even play the second one so why get the next one that you can’t play either.

What here and then works is:
Once the error shows up you can click on “Send and repair” and then go to steam > start the game > wait for it to finish “repairing” > try your best.

One other way it fixed it for me is when i put “cleanmgr” in RUN wich is opened by pressing WIN+R together and by putting checkmarks on everything and pressing then on delete. That combined with the first non log term solution works the best ( Able to play 1-2 Rounds ) for than to crash in the error described in the title of the Forum.
