GAME CAUSING STEAM INTO OFFLINE MODE

anytime i play {started tonight} it sends my steam into offline mode but its not a normal offline its like it cuts the internet coinnection without full sending it to offline mode and i cant figure out what the cause is but it only happens on cod. (also what i mean by not full sending it is when you go on steam and put it into offline mode you hasve to pressw the button and then press it again to go online but when this happens the button still says go to offline mode meaning its not in offrline mode only acting like it).
