Where is the footstep audio in this game? It's nonexistent on my end.

Literally in the kill cams I hear my footsteps just fine but enemies are always silent (without even having dead silence.) I am making myself go deaf with the bass boost option and 100 volume. What is going on?

Nah im getting something similar. But in the kill cams the footsteps are mega loud. I cant even hear my teammates footsteps right beside me. On full sprint.

I heard dr disrespect say it once and it seems to make a massive difference - in your sound settings (speaker properties) turn on all the windows enhancement things. One of them gets rid of sounds at top and bottom of hearing range and better balances middles and it seems to make a massive difference in this game.

the issue is that the audio queueing is really bad in this game, if theres any gunfire or kill streak it makes you unable to hear peoples footsteps.

Hearing is completely fine. Try again though. Footsteps audio is only heard in kill cams for me or if a teammate is dead center on me.

The patent you should look at for audio is Systems and Methods for Controlling Camera Perspectives, Movements, and Displays of Video Game Gameplay. I have personally labeled and called this "the "storyline" patent".

There is only stereo directional audio, no 7.1. turn off your surround sound and go Stereo and you will hear foot steps again. Was driving me crazy with my Razer headset until i just turn surround off.
