Widespread Abuse of the Reporting Feature

Second time I've been shadow banned, I was free for 2 days.

Abuse of the report feature is hurting innocent players. It's not our job to fix it BUT maybe if we keep posting about it something might be done about it?

If you're an innocent player, and not a stupid little (mumble mumble, dolphin sound) , then I'd keep submitting tickets through the support site, saying you've been the victim of report abuse. Keep talking about it. Don't just forget about it, bug the hell out of them if you can.

If you cheat in this game, more than likely you will get caught and then banned, good riddance!

It's so frustrating how some random COD player, has the ability to ruin your enjoyment of the game through taking advantage of, clearly, a broken reporting system.

(Stalkers: yes I had a VAC ban in some game years ago b/c I was an idiot and yes, it made me sad but its what I deserved.)

Having players being falsely punished when they aren't cheating means the report system isn't working, I've been shadow banned twice.

neither time did it result in a permanent ban
meaning that the report system doesn't work either way.
If people think I'm not cheating I get punished for being reported alone then this mean innocent players are being punished meaning the report system doesnt work and is being abused.
If people do think I'm cheating then the system has failed to catch me twice out of both the shadow bans meaning the report system doesn't work and is faulty.

that is not a vac ban, that is an in-game ban. Vac ban use the VAC anti cheat to ban people, In-game bans doesnt need to use any anti cheat and can be completely up to developer discretion

you know You dont have to cheat to get game bans? Its not even about defending him

I can't believe they haven't bothered fixing this. The game's been out for months, and people are still getting rage-reported.

I think the worst part about it is that no streamers are bringing it into light because they aren't effected and/or abusing it

Somehow I just got reported for "offensive name" and "offensive chat" for no reason just now, when my name is nowhere near offensive and I don't even use chat at all. Did I just pissed off someone in-game? idk haha

I just got two warnings: one for offensive username, and one for offensive chat.

Except that my username is Spaceman, and I don't even use chat.

Which is pretty funny, to be honest. Someone is definitely butthurt.

I think the majority of us have been a victim of that type of false reporting and from what I can tell is ignored by the reviewers.

could this be a by-product of stuffing everybody into controller crossplay lobbies and refusing to add option to disable it
