Searching For High Ping

Anybody have any idea why out of nowhere when searching for a match it's starting looking for 86 ping and only goes up from there? My ping has always been in the range of 10-30 in any game, including this one, but now my ping is always over 100 for days now.

Tested my internet and everything is fine there, and I'm definitely connecting to my local servers because everybody I hear speaking on mic is either Australian or Kiwi so it's for sure Sydney servers and their ping is low. NAT type is also open, ports forwarded, router rebooted etc. Absolutely everything I can think to check as a possible cause has not changed and yet here I am getting close to unplayable ping.

Hi, I am from argentina and I have the same problem, I used to play with 30ms but the last night my game started search in <200m. When I connect I am playing in the USA servers.
I have no idea whats going on. Sry for my bad english

sounds like you guys might be shadow banned or in the shadow pool
Check your ban status, Sometimes you're put in those matches for 24-48 hours when they are checking new accounts

Already checked my account status, forgot to add that. Account is in good standing.

I'm not sure if they have anything to do with each other but still.

Anyways the issue should resolve in 48 hours if it doesn't contact support.

My account is something like 10 years old or more, been using this account and playing COD on it since maybe Black Ops 1. It's been about 72 hours so far that this issue is going on, I've been checking every now and then.

Over 500 hours. Not trying to be combative with your suggestions, I appreciate them, just saying.

I know youre not, just double checking, I just notice youre from aus as well
Are we talking mutiplayer or warzone
Because in warzone its dead to find matches for most the day, and other players have been reporting they are having issues too with their internet providers connection to cod

Multiplayer. pretty much only play SnD, I don't really enjoy any other mode. No matter what I search for though it does the same thing now, just starts at 86 ping and goes up since about 3 or 4 days ago.

You should try finding a shipment match just to check its not the game mode youre playing.

Tried shipment already thinking it was the most popular, same thing happened. Just starts at 86 no matter what now. I'm lost, I don't know why it's doing this. Since release it's always started at 30ish, now it's just screwing me out of nowhere. Beyond looking at the things I listed in my post and the account ban status for a potential shadow ban, I just don't know what else to check.

I could try that, but most likely they'll just blame my internet even though I've ruled that out. It's an easy scapegoat to a ping complaint.

Yeah I know what you mean. Most seem like they're trained to deal with only the most basic of complaints, while also assuming you don't know the most basic of things. Rare to find somebody on a support team that goes beyond that.
