TPM / Secure Boot “Attestation Failed” – What Actually Works and What Doesn’t (Full Breakdown + Support Response)
Call of Duty TPM / Secure Boot Attestation Issue – What actually works and what doesn’t

I’m posting this so others don’t waste days chasing random fixes like I did.

🔧 System / context
MSI B650M motherboard (latest BIOS AMI 2.62)
AMD fTPM enabled
Secure Boot enabled
Windows 11 fully updated
TPM 2.0 active and visible in tpm.msc
🧪 What I tried (and what Activision support suggested)

I went through basically every standard troubleshooting step:

BIOS update to latest version (already up to date)
Enabled / re-enabled AMD fTPM switch
TPM reset via BIOS / Windows confirmation
Checked TPM status in tpm.msc
Verified Secure Boot is enabled
Ran enrollaik.exe from the game installation folder (as administrator)
Reinstalled / repaired game files
Checked Windows services (TPM Base Services, Cryptographic Services)
Followed Activision support FAQ step by step

I also contacted Activision Support multiple times.

💬 What support told me

At first, they asked for standard checks (BIOS version, manufacturer confirmation, TPM/Secure Boot status).

After confirming everything was already correct on my side, they eventually replied:

“Our studio teams are actively investigating this issue. We do not have an exact time frame. Higher teams are working on a solution.”

In other words:
➡️ this is no longer a user-side fix
➡️ it has been escalated to internal development/studio team

📌 Final conclusion

After all testing, this is NOT fixed by:

BIOS updates
TPM resets
Secure Boot toggles
reinstalling the game
running enrollaik.exe manually

At this point, it appears to be a backend / attestation system issue on Activision’s side.

🧠 Advice to others

If you are stuck on “TPM / Secure Boot attestation failed”:

Don’t waste time endlessly resetting TPM
If your BIOS + TPM + Secure Boot are already correct, you’re likely already “done”
The issue is probably not your hardware or Windows setup
⏳ Current status

As per support:
➡️ issue is under investigation by studio teams
➡️ no ETA for a fix yet
➡️ wait for game/anti-cheat update

I have the same problem (laptop 3 gen ryzen 5), so , yeah, i'm in, i'm looking forward for the updates about this case! Thanks, man!
Thanks for your response, i have the same probleme : Hp omen 16 max with Intel core ultra7 My bios is update, TMP, secure boot is ok. In the season 3 i can't play only ranked but now i'can't play anityhing. An informatician of HP came on my PC and didn't find the solution... so it's Activision. Wait and see...
For what its worth, I have the same MSI board and it wasn't working until the TPM was reset this way: Security->Trusted Computing->Pending Operation->TPM Clear. Follow any prompts and then F10 to save. Then reboot and it should clear the TPM keys.

Also if you didnt do a clean install when you upgraded your pc, that can cause problems with TPM keys.

it didn't help in any way.
Mine was working perfectly before the update, so I am working on the basis that this is an issue with the latest version of cod

same, hopefully they fix it
Maybe Microsoft servers are the problem.

Check it out:

Activision has implemented the mandatory MAA (Microsoft Azure Attestation) system. Instead of just checking TPM 2.0 locally on your PC, the game now sends security data to Microsoft servers for validation.
for me fix was simple bios update marked with some CVE patch
maybe it was just luck for me

"IMPORTANT: Players who fail Microsoft Azure Attestation (MAA) checks will be placed into a separate matchmaking pool. To access all playlists, players must successfully complete the MAA process. Because the pool of players who haven't passed our attestation checks is small, access is limited to a select set of playlists to help maintain healthy matchmaking.

Players who do not complete attestation will be limited to Nuketown 24/7 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Battle Royale Casual in Call of Duty: Warzone. This requirement helps protect the integrity of the game and the experience of the broader community."

Isn't it mean that's they're just making you to update your firmware? WHICH I CAN'T DO , because there's no BIOS for me and Acer told me - there's no planned BIOS updates for my model of laptop

Not all have such responsible manufacturers of hardware, some of them can't even make new BIOS updates after 1 year after creating laptop, for example. This is my case for example. It's so stupid way to lose players, fr
im in the same boat , i talk to msi about and there is nothing i can do unless windows or cod changes it , paid for a game i cant play anymore great
Thank you! I have wasted hours on this, I have a computer that is less than 2 weeks old and was told my BIOS failed the firmware, after speaking to ibuypower for 45 minutes they told me they could offer me no solutions due to everything being right on my end. Emailing Activision was a complete waste of time for me.
Thanks for your post. Patiently waiting for a fix
