Lag when playing MWII(2022) PC

Hello, I recently bought a laptop, Legion Slim 7, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics, 3201 Mhz, 40GB RAM, 512 GB PCle SSD, so I have this laptop, but when I play MW2 I lag like crazy, my internet slows to a crawl, I can play other multi-player games like OW2, Halo Infiinite with no issue, but I play this game, and I'm lagging. Does anyone have any knowledge of why this is? Any advice on how to fix this?

Have you tried the MW2 (2009) forum?

But it doesn't say you own MWII (this game) here, on Steam, on the forums. If you have it downloaded, installed and have played it on Steam, it would indicate that in your post.

Go to settings -> graphics -> Quality -> Lower/turn off everything and check again.

how much ram ? 40 is a odd number by todays standards
from the ones i can find online you have a 16gb one which means
between the game and the gpu ram will be shared since this game can quickly chew both well

that and it being a 3050 which is entry for gaming
then theres temp throttles that come with lap tops

@RabahRambo, lowering my settings seems to have fixed it, I lowered them to the lowest possible, i can now finally play the game without lag, thx for the advice my friend
