Why nerf tf out of the riot shield?

It was something fun to use and could be countered very easily with a semtex, thermite, drill charge, or molotov, Now it takes 3 hits to kill someone?? It's absolutely nerfed into the ground for no reason.

Because, like literally anything abusable, people were abusing it into the ground.

Camping isn't a playstyle, and for anyone else seeing this.... for the love of christ stop praising camping like it's a playstyle. Cause it isn't. It takes 0 skill to set up a tent and sit in the corner and pick people off from the side who are actually trying to get kills, Just like it takes 0 skill to sit in the corner with a shield and wait until the person turns around to throw a knife at you.

Camping is a playstyle. It's the players choice to take things slow and position themselves in a spot to get the surprise on the enemy.....

No, camping is a way for ♥♥♥♥ players to ride the curve of the skill gap in the game cause they suck ass.

It's actually funny that some people decided to spend $70+ just to sit in one spot, and play in the absolutely most boring way possible. When in reality you could have bought any numerous slower paced fps games that encourage a more tactical approach.

Someone doesn't check their corners. (And clearly hates logic.) It's a playstyle bud. People can play slow if they want to. Either you accept it or just don't play COD because campers aren't going anywhere. It's really as simple as that unfortunately.

I’m also quite a bit disappointed. I love using throwing knifes. It’s my lethal in every load out and sometimes I liked to play throwing knifes only, no weapons. That’s now demolished because it takes literal years to throw a knife with a shield combined. Even with fast hands.

The throwing knife and the movement speed nerf I completely agree with. That ♥♥♥♥ was annoying to deal with. Not a fan of the bash speed increase and damage nerf though. ♥♥♥♥ didn't need the damage nerf given it took a whole second to get a kill, while everything else can kill you 4 times over during that time. Movement and T-Knife combo nerf was enough. Getting poly on it is gonna be next to impossible without afkers or reverse boosting into coma patient lobbies.

Little has changed, in close combat the shield is still just as good. The increased hitting speed compensates for the reduced damage. Plus, the turbo shield is fun.

Cuz its broken concept. Theres a reason why shield didnt live long in CS. Its still n arcade shooters, cuz screw balance and feed trolls. I had enough shotgun turtles in last cod.
