SWITCHING TO CONTROLLER ?

Ive always been a keyboard gamer ever since I was around 4 years old. Started out on quake 3 arena and unreal tournament where tracking and flicks need to be perfect.
PLAYING mw2/warzone 2.0 is a struggle ( mw2 due to the low TTK ) , im fine with long rang fight compared to close range, i feel like i just can't miss a bulet in close range to win.
I have also the same probleme on apex legend, i was Prddator s1-s2-s3 , i stoped playing bcs of hybrid player ( M/K early , controler when stuffed ) and i feel like i should do a switch due to the direction FPS is going, i want to improve myself and i feel like im stuck rn.
PLAYER stats : mw2 : 1.80 K/D Warzone : 3.1 K/D APEX : 4.2 K/D

Is the switch worth it or should i focus on M/K ?

there is nothing wrong with using a controller just don't abuse aim assist.

that's like saying "here 100 euroes, just dont buy your favorite food/snacks/drink", i mean... everyone would go buy at least one of their favorites & still have plenty of money left, not something you resist... + if you're a K/M player there's no way you'd switch to controller & play without aim assist as the stick aiming feels beyond unnatural & impossible for a K/M player that never uses controller other then maybe for racing & fighting games which is night/day comparisson to FPS games

how do you "abuse" aim assist? by just using it?

Its easier with controller. I use DS4 controller with back button attachment. DS4 controller input is supported even when you use PlayStation 4 DualShock USB Wireless Adaptor on pc.

I played on controllers and consoles for decades. I switched to PC a few years back. I'm still clumsy on m&k, but the advantages are better than controller. Give it a try, though.

There are few advantages on controller vs m&k in CoD. Its easier to use, there is auto aim and for me main difference controller vs m&k is, its easier to counter cheaters if you use controller. Btw, I only use controller in CoD.

For me it feels every Aim Assisst user is a cheater against mouse and keyboard. Unatural and disgusting. Why play the game then, when the most important part of a fps is taking away?

Maybe it´s the caching sound and splashy score you get every time you down someone and it´s triggering something in many brains. Like those freemium games.

Modern CoD games are made for controllers. Majority ppl who play CoD are on console. PC CoD multiplayer community almost dont existe after few months after game relaase. Perma crossplay on pc is made because of low population pc gamers. Its impossible to find match if there is crossplay disabled on PC. There is bug, if you have PS account and battlenet concected, and you play crossplay disabled on PS, when you back to PC crossplay still stay disabled and its imposible to find match. I enable croosplay on PC queing on Ground War.

Aim Assist is pure cheating not just because of the help they get with aiming....it can see you through smoke nades....flash....and flinch ammo has no effect on them either...
