CRASH SHUTTING DOWN MY PC FULLY

has anyone had the problem where the game crashing and completely shutting down their pc?
i have a top notch pc and even updated the drivers to see if it would help but it still seems to crash the whole pc.
lemme know if anyone has a way to fix this.

I fixed myself, but that does not apply with everyone else.
Disable or change graphics other than DLSS. I changed to something else and no hard boot restart PC.
I used DLSS since the game released till level 255, then it randomly crashes. Idk if it is because the new DLSS or the game patch broke it.

My spec are:
RTX 2080Ti
AMD 7 3800x
32 GB RAM

If it doesnt work maybe give a little volt for your CPU

my pc keeps crashing when i attempt to play this game today and it either has my COD account signs out, blue screen crash or blacks screen with blue,red green tiny spots crash. i don't want to harm my m.2 and hard drives with constant crashes. very annoying bs.

the problem is randgrid.sys ad its a driver in mw2

Your pc is fine!!!

I have the same issue since 528.02 driver or the game update i cant decide which one is bad. Every other game runs perfectly.

I only crash when exiting the game or loading the wz map.

If you look in your event viewer on windows and you are getting an error involving Nvidia similar to nvkldmm or something, what worked for me was:
I completely uninstalled my Nvidia drivers in safe mode with DDU, downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers from the website NOT the Geforce experience (as it hung last time during install resulting in this error), installed them and I was good to go.

That worked for me, maybe it helps you. Either way if your event viewer is showing something else maybe it made a dmp file and you can use something like WhoCrashed to see what the issue most likely is.

Thank god, really thought something was wrong with my PC but it made no sense because it’s only this game.

So there’s nothing we can really do but wait for them to fix it?

Everyone waiting for Activision or nvidia to comment the problem.

Everybody report the problem and we will get faster reply i think

In my situation i can play 1 or 2 match in a row then crash. Sometimes 3 then crash

It doesnt matter i wanna quit or find another match its just reboot.

Yeah having this exactly, sometimes a reboot, sometimes a BSOD with the stop code "BAD_POOL_CALLER" which appears with issues to the drivers. Hope we get a fix soon

GPU: 1080 Ti FTW3 (Drivers 528.02 with a clean installation)
Ram: 32gb (8 gb each)
PSU: Supernova 1600 T2
Windows 11 Pro
Dual Predator Acer XB241H monitors


Im aware parts of my system are overkill and other parts are being held back however its gotten the job done thus far. Been playing the game no issue since launch past the first driver issues everyone had.


Ive been playing the game perfectly fine till the last update. I'll be honest though I forget if I overclocked my ram (regardless if I have or havent I been playing the game fine since launch and this is the only game thats done this to my pc)

ive ran mem tests too and found nothing

use whocrashed app off google it logs everything and helps fix whats casuing it ... i had same issue and had a driver that was gone lol and it fixed my game so give it a try

We know what causing this.

But we cant do nothing.

Because suddenly everyones pc reboot. Atleast for a lot of people

I had a problem that my computer crashed when it was trying to load a map, the problem seemed to have been the radgrind.sys or randgrind.sys don't remember the name. But when i removed that one and then validated my files which seems to have fixed the problem.

Disable XMP in BIOS and it will stop crashing got this from Intel rep on forum.

It has been brought up recently and I chimed in to say that since the last little update my PC crashed while loading a map then rebooted .
This is the first time this has happened with this game.
Previous to this it crashed a few times, but it just went back to desktop,and before the last update had been crash free!
I think this is bad form when I have a good PC that plays all other games well.
GLAD I AM NOT ALONE WITH THIS.
Dont think much will help until a official fix is sorted out, in the meantime I wont be playing, as a crash reboot happening often will not be doing my PC any favours!

Anyway wtf is this. I bought an expensive high end ram and when I want to play with my friends wz2 , I need to disable my expo because of that? ( worked fine to this day anyway)
