Let us download On-Demand Texture instead of streaming
Even on the highest settings, the textures look terrible.
Let us download the high-res texture; I'm not sure why this is not an option to choose in the first place.
On-Demand Texture Streaming ruins the game and sometimes introduces lag while playing, and not everyone has gigabit internet.

The entire size of the high-res texture is 419 GB, but this is for 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions, they should do three packs: one for the campaign, one for multiplier, and one for Warzone 2. and that gives the players a choice from which to choose. Because if this setting is enabled, you will eventually download them.

And if you did verify files on Steam, all downloaded textures would be deleted, so what's the point of streaming?

most people play on consoles, consoles have very limited storage, which is the reason why they added this feature, very few people would opt to download either one "pack" or all packs, which is why i doubt this will ever be an option

the alternative is to simply toggle it off which you can already do

Yeah, I understand that for consoles, but this game is also on PC, not giving a choice it's a bad idea.

even on pc it would be used by maybe less than 1%

nobody wants one game taking up 300-600gb

1) It's an option, not something forced on you.
2) Xbox and Playstation can easily add terrabytes of storage and if they're smart, for cheap.
3) I get you're saying this because more than likely Activision will try and justify it by saying something similar; but regardless, there is no genuine reason they can't implement DLC optional packs on PC. They just genuinely do no care about the player base and the leaders would consider it a waste of resources.

you mean external drives? these games don't work on external drives on new consoles as they require to be installed on the internal storage

nobody at activision cares about what's posted here, if there's a submit feedback option on their site, try that

It's the same concept and the same servers; they should add both streaming and downloading the full packs; even if only 1% of players use them, it will be better than streaming, which introduces lag and stutter while playing.

By creating a discussion on Steam, they can see that since they have moderators running it and reporting issues, like the crashes that were happening and texture artefacts in Nvidia drivers, so I am pretty sure they can see our discussion.

Then you need to take a look at the pinned posts created by the Activation community manager.

Yes, that's already known in every game community hub, but at least the Activation CMs are here and can see what we are saying.
