Stupid question but any word on spotify being safe? Ive heard of ricochet flagging that.
I've been using it for literal years and was never banned... ever.
Same for MSI Afterburner, also used it for years - no bans whatsoever.
While it is always possible that there will be "false positives", because of either a bug in app or anticheat software, realisticly chances are slim and it would be quite widespread, hence someone would quickly notice that something is wrong.
What may be happening right now, is that current anticheat (Ricochet) may identify macros running while playing the game by script kiddies who think they are tech wizzards, because they are using legitimate applications for basicly cheating.
The fact that you can do something within an app, does not mean that you should do it, hence the whole cry about Synapse, G Hub, Afterburner and other apps being at fault here, while there are many people who use these daily and are not banned.
