Is razer synapse safe to use

Has anyone been banned using Razer synapse or the Icue software.I Recently fully upgraded and i saw reports of people being falsely banned for using legit almost every software i use to control my mice and keyboards.I am terrified of getting banned for it. Ik the arguement of hehe people cheat then cry but i have not played cod in years and this one seems fun so i wanna get it but i do not wanna get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for zero

I have it and havent gotten banned, not sure if its been running. Razer central service is running in the background but I dont know if thats specifically synapse.

Stupid question but any word on spotify being safe? Ive heard of ricochet flagging that.

Don't use cheats and you'll be fine, 99.9% of people banned are because of google cheats I use ICUE, discord streaming (sometimes), G Hub, and even run a Pokemon on a Emulator. even verified my files. no problems at all apart from the usual bugs

It's safe to use any RGB-related software. As long as you don't break Code of Conduct, you'll be fine.

I use Synapse and have been fine, don't try to use any scripts on it.

synapse doesnt cause bans. i never got banned from any anticheat running synapse. just dont cheat.

Synapse itself is fine.
I've been using it for literal years and was never banned... ever.
Same for MSI Afterburner, also used it for years - no bans whatsoever.

While it is always possible that there will be "false positives", because of either a bug in app or anticheat software, realisticly chances are slim and it would be quite widespread, hence someone would quickly notice that something is wrong.

What may be happening right now, is that current anticheat (Ricochet) may identify macros running while playing the game by script kiddies who think they are tech wizzards, because they are using legitimate applications for basicly cheating.
The fact that you can do something within an app, does not mean that you should do it, hence the whole cry about Synapse, G Hub, Afterburner and other apps being at fault here, while there are many people who use these daily and are not banned.
