VAC BAN

I had tested modern warfare during the beta but I didn't even play 30min and today I log on my steam and I see that I received a vac ban. I don't understand I never cheated. Has anyone had the same problem?

this game doesn't use vac

it's a game ban, probably transferred for cheating in cod mw or cod vanguard

if you cheated in cod mw or vanguard, the bans transfer to mw2

You don't have a VAC ban, you have a game ban.

This game applies bans from any previous game you've cheated on with Activation from any other platform no matter how many years ago that was.

look my profil it's clearly marked i have a vac ban and i have never played call of duty except black ops 2 but it's been years and i have never cheated on any game

that's a game ban, not a vac ban

a vac ban specifies that it's vac

this game doesn't use vac

Your profile clearly says game ban, that's not a VAC ban, there is a difference.

And if you linked your steam account to an Activision account and that Activision account has ever cheated in the past, you're game banned here for it too.

And you can pretend you didn't all you want, but game bans are not an automated system, each one is manually checked. You, or someone you let use your account on Activision has cheated in the past, that ban will be applied as a game ban to all games from that company that you link with, forever.

The fact you don't even understand the difference between a game ban and a VAC ban when your steam account clearly does not have a VAC ban shows how little you comprehend about this entire topic.

i never cheated, NEVER. Last week I was shadowbanned, they checked my account, after 13 days it came back to normal. I only played one single game. 14 kills. and again shadowbanned. GG Call Of Junk. Never cheated, 2 years playing against cheaters, and Ricochet anticheat its garbage.

Dumb question... would they even let a person buy a new CoD if in fact they have a past ban on record though? That would kind of constitute stealing on Activision's part if so.

"stealing" no, not really. You could buy tickets to see a band at a pub you're banned from, but they can still refuse entry. They never ask you to buy it, it's your voluntary choice, and you should check if you can play it before hand based on your ummm... past.
