Have they fixed BO6's performance on Steam yet?
As the title suggests. Steam's performance since the Beta has been almost halved compared to Battlenet. If you were getting 200fps on Battlenet, it would be somewhere around like 100-140fps on Steam for some reason.

I haven't played BO6 since December, and this is partly why, since they refuse to fix major problems like this, it doesn't sit well with me. If it hasn't been fixed by now, it never will be.

These sorts of problems are absolutely disgusting and say a lot about how the devs see their playerbase. They treat literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ better than the people playing their games.

lol they havent fixed MWII performance, dont hold your breath
All thing's considered, MW2's performance wasn't that bad, MW3's was better though. And yes I disabled voice chat already, it didn't really fix anything for me.

Doesn't really do much, the fix was initially for large player maps because it ate into CPU cycles (like warzone). BO6 is based on MW2 engine and not MW3 engine which is why there are so many issues. Basically all the fixes MW3 got are missing. The netcode is abysmal.

I can only speak from personal experience. Dont know if its just me or people here are just too negative that only parrots what they see on YT or read on reddit.

I've done some recent tests (last week) between PCGamePass version of warzone and Steam. A few months ago the performance difference was abysmal, the problem mas evidently bad.

After a few tests I can confirm that FOR ME and FOR MY SYSTEM the performance is now ON PAR on both versions. Runs almost the same without any problems, stutters or anything like that.

Im pretty sure some time ago (don't know when) they silently fixed it because they never really acknowledged, not publicly that is.

You are welcome to conduct your own tests on your on PC's as Warzone does not need GamePass sub to be downloaded and played there so there's really no pretext to not test it out.

Yeah okay. Like I said, I haven't played since early December and people were still complaining about it then. I didn't really think of checking Warzone to see if it's fixed, all I know was that BO6's MP just ran really bad for me on Steam, worse than I'd expect for this type of game on a 4090. At 4k with DLSS Quality at Ultra, it would drop below 60fps on Terminus and most of the time it ran around 70-100fps, which is performance I'd expect from a 4070 not a 4090.
well its better than the warzone launch, still not great though

Yeah the problem was super obvious but them seem to have fixed it. Try it out, run some tests on steam then download and run PCGP Warzone and compare.

Good luck!
