VAC BAN Unknowingly had cheat engine running

I was Playing Rome 2 total war and was using cheat engine on it, then my friends asked me to join them on COD and I quit Rome but forgot to close the cheat engine. I was VAC Banned because cheat engine was running I never cheated in the game and have been playing it for a long time and would love it if I could play again as it it one of the few games I play and apart from that I never cheated and this was an honest mistake.

I tried contacting activation but cant seem to find the right contact information.

Bro, you admitted to be using a cheat engine on Rome 2 Total war, and you then proceeded to hop on COD with it still on, and you say you forgot you had it on? Bruh... How? Don't cheat to begin with and this wouldn't of happened.

bro the game just put me out the second i got into it, I was using it to add money on total war yes I admit I used it but not on COD or any other game just single player games I mean why can't I on single player I agree with banning cheating players but in this instance I was an honest mistake and anyone can open a game and leave a software running unknowingly or knowingly but not noticing.

It's the fact you used a cheating software, and hopped on COD with it. Activision doesn't care if it was an honest mistake or not, they saw you were using a cheat, and got banned.

If you want, contact their support and appeal for a ban lift, but don't count on them getting to you any time soon.

Already tried to be honest but that failed and I wish I could talk to someone I did not know it would effect being honest as long as I was not cheating and it not just cod that is the problem that my steam account has been flagged with a VAC ban and a VAC ban is for cheaters I think COD should make it clear that what software it allows to be installed or ran while the game is running because if a developer such as my self was using cheat engine to test a game then I would be flagged and that does not make sens its like saying just because you are accused you are guilty which makes no sens even for preventive measures they should just close the game not get you banned and apart from all the time i spent playing the game and hard work and cod points skins etc

You have to understand, even if what you are saying is true, it's just not possible to unban you. If they would, everybody could just start using that excuse and how are the supposed to tell who is lying or who isn't?

I expect them not to ban me for using cheats on another game ! If the software was used on COD it would be a different story. it is not right and also it is breaching privacy policy even tho I have agreed to the terms and conditions they should not have the right to access any other files other then their own ! and if their files are tempered with then you get banned but now for having software installed. It's like getting fined for having an unlicensed car parked in the garage and receiving a ticked for driving it this is total BS in my opinion and you this d()b F trying to mock me ? LOL I wish you was in my face and we would see how tough you actually is LIL B!

LeM3Work well if you know how court works its not preventive you are found guilty on what you are accused of not on what you could do its like telling me I go to jail for owning a gun because I could have shot someone. You know cheat engine can be used to test software and I'm a developer so what ? they can ban me for having software that I use to test games ? not right eyy I guesss they need to change their system because its not fair having non cheaters classified as cheaters even if its just a game ban I love the game and never cheated or even tried to cheat on it.

Nevermind, you are beyond stupid.

Another stupid comparison. You own your house. Playing this game means you are inside someones home, not your own. You don't own the servers. When you buy a game, you don't buy the copyright or anything else to it. lol

That's like buying a Porsche car and then wrecking everything in sight on the lot, just crashing into cars. You think they gonna let you drive away with the porsche? CHEATING is what scumbags do, even in single player games.

Ironic how you talk about the law. lmao You agreed to the EULA/ToS while installing this game. It clearly states that you will get banned for running any cheat program while playing - heck even having certain cheating software on your PC is enough, you don't even have to load up.

You could've gotten a refund if you didn't agree. You wouldn't have a case before the law, they'd laugh at you.
