Constant Packet Burst
Has anybody found a solution to the constant packet burst? No matter what settings I use it always happens. Never happened before to me in MW2, but MW3 and the BO6 beta it's a lag fest, and I'm so close to pulling the plug and getting a refund on BO6 if it's going to be like this.

On occasion its going to happen, but if its constant its a you thing. Be mad and deny all you want, thats just an objective fact.

packet burst is a latency thing, could be both sides.... seeing as how it rarely happens on my end, odds are its his and not the server.

I have gigabit fiber internet and a $4000 PC. The game runs perfect at max settings, except for the constant packet bursts. It's not a "you" thing, it's an "Activision" thing.

I know this is the Internet but there's no need to be disrespectful. It's quite possible it's a me issue, but since I read it happens to others I thought I'd ask the community if there was a solution or if this is simply a server issue I can't control. As I said before, doesn't matter what settings I use I get the same thing whether I set things to recommended or copy a pro player's setup of everything on low, which is ridiculous because I should be able to play on high no problem. Read a guide about lowering the targeted VRAM and that seemed to help somewhat but not completely. I just want to be able to play the game like normal like I used to in MW2019, Cold War, Vanguard, and MW2 but that doesn't seem to be the case, so I guess I'll be giving up on playing the new Cod games if it's going to continue to be like this. And if this is such a me issue, how come this doesn't happen in any other multiplayer games I play?

Trying to reason with you is like talking to a wall, so I'm going to ask you to kindly leave this discussion. You're here to derail the discussion and play the blame game without any proof it's me with the problem.

False, just try to communicate like a normal person. It will help, a lot.

Still waiting... PLEASE explain how YOUR connection and whatever you paid for your PC means your latency should be good.

Im excited to correct this nonsense.

Having a private profile doesn't hide the fact that your post history shows you spend most of your time arguing with people in the Steam community for Steam points.

dude is so starved for attention he rather tries to hinder people insted of helping them jesus get a grip bro
ThunderHawk Sep 2, 2024 @ 12:22am
but to get back to the topic it is most likley on their end i have a very stable internet connection low ping low latency but i never manage to find a lobby under 90 ping i would assume activisions servers are just pure garbage cant do anything about it i guess

the sbmm seems to take part in that too i will activly try to match you with people your skill and if they happen to be on a bad server your fked thats the cod experience we just have to live with it there is no way of fixing this
