Game location: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ
set cod.exe disable fullscreen optimization
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ\mp24
set mp24-cod.exe disable fullscreen optimization
open Call of Duty HQ, set everything on low, disabled DLSS, lower resolution (mine was 3440x1440) and finally, the blackscreen gone and BO6 is launching with the popup to try safe mode (I tried normal and it worked) - its working for me after a lot of steps
not sure if it helps
"Browse to the games files and delete the cod24_*.dcache files that are in the "main" folder, for me they were in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty HQ\mp24\main" folder. These files will be generated again when you launch the game"
Just FYI, my client crashed after a match ended, then afterwards i was unable to join multiplayer, as it would crash each time retrieving profile information.
What a legend, this worked for the xbox launcher as well - located in Content though
<path>\Call of Duty\Content\mp24\main
I don't have that file anywhere :/
