GPU Temp too High (BO6 BETA)
Energy saving mode is on, all settings are on low, FPS is capped at a low value, and I'm playing Black Ops 6 at Full HD resolution. The GPU temperature is in the 70s when idle, but it rises up to 93°C when I start playing. I can play MW2 at 2K resolution on high settings without any issues related to temperature. I even set the fan speed to 100% in AfterBurner. The temperature problem only occurs in BO6. I play a lot of games at 2K resolution and high settings. Hopefully, this issue is only present in the beta. No matter what changes I make to the settings, I can't solve this problem.

if your GPU temp is in the 70's at idle you have a cooling or more than likely GPU problem. Its not the game.

What GPU? how old? Have you ever repasted? Either your gpu is on its last leg or you SEVERELY need to do some maintenance on it.

My 7900XTX is 36 degrees right now- idle.

friends, I misrepresented myself there. i meant to say when I was idle in the game. I mean, when I spawn, it's 70 degrees, when I start moving and start fighting, the temperature rises to 90. otherwise my values are low when I'm idle.

Maybe you need to try a more agressive custom fan curve to be made in the Afterburner, just saying. If it doesn't help, then something wrong with your GPU or, perhaps, there is some software problem

Clean your case fans. Open the case and leave it open for a test. The heat during movement tends to come from the CPU, which heats up the case and the graphics card then blows the hot air onto the GPU. The game is demanding, but good cooling can still cope with this.

Dude if you're sitting at 70 in idle inside the game your gpu is struggling, or you again, have a cooling problem...

Or your gpu is old. You've not answered my original questions but 70 in game when nothing is happening is high af too. You have a hardware problem. Clean your ♥♥♥♥.

Sounds like your case lacks cooling. Consider cleaning out dust & residue inside chasis.

Sitting at 70 just in game leads me to think he's probably on a 2000 series that hasn't been cleaned since it was installed.

Any newer than that and it's because he hasn't cleaned anything, at all, and is trying to run it well above what it's capable

Bro i have the same issue i have Asus tuf a15 laptop RTX 4060 ryzen 7435hs and when i play MW3 on high medium settings it never reaches to 70 but when i play BO6, during the gameplay it reaches up to 73. The strange thing is when i adjust the settings from high to low the temp never reduces it is the same as i never touched the graphic settings it is wierd but i really hope it just the beta

73 on a laptop isnt bad. They arent made to dissipate heat, and are actually quite garbage at doing so. They are always going to run hotter than their PC equiv.
