Awful Stuttering even with high fps
had the same problem with mw2 and decided to return for bo6 with the same issue. no matter what i turn my settings to the game runs terrible. the only way i was able to play mw2 was to use cpu stress trest program while playing however this would only make the game run smooth for about an hour before the stuttering game back and I would have to restart the game and the program. I have also tried
-Lowering vram usage max to 50,70,80, etc

-Lowering textures to minimum/all settings on low

-Reinstalling the game

-Going into documents/call of duty/and changing options 3 and 4 folders render count to my cpu’s threads/tried again with 6 thread count

-Capping my frame rate

-Turned off DLSS, turned off DLSS frame generation -Closing geforce overlay, discord overlay, all background apps

-Changing power mode to balanced from performance

-Verified Integrity of game files

-Ensured graphics driver is up to date

-Reinstalled graphics driver

Same issue here.

What GPU do you have? Currently myself and another user is having issues on a RTX3090

Noticed this in zombies on release, still having the issue sometimes like when I load a solo save file for zombies, i notice stuttering every like 3-5 seconds, random tip but try disabling tutorial button and gameplay tips in the interface menu. Do you guys still have this issue now? Also my specs are 4080 SUPER, Ryzen 7800x3D, 32GB RAM. Having FPS capped at 200 in zombies, unsure about multiplayer tho but i feel stuttering there too.

Yup, I have about a 1 second stutter every 5-10 seconds. It never stops. Playing on a 4080 Super and a 12700k.

Set VRAM usage target in settings to 80% and see if that helps

The VRAM target setting helps for 10 minutes or even less, been testing that from 50% to 90% still the same issue sadly, they just released a stability fix patch so testing it now.

Just a quick update, I removed my GPU drivers and installed them new, everything seems smooth for now even after 6 hours of playing :D
Go to Device Manager, click on Display adapters and right click your GPU, then click uninstall device and check the remove drivers box, now restart the PC and download the new driver from Geforce Experience and restart again. Worked for me!
