If you have Pre-Purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (As in you have brought the game via a Pre-Order): Then you should see a DLC Package when you go Properties - DLC
If you HAVENT Pre-Purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and have got a Beta Code through the means of, lets say: IGN giving out the codes
> Go to https://callofduty.com/betaredeem
> If you have got the beta code and put it into the website, there should be a 12 digit (numerical) and character (letters) code that you then redeem on Steam.
> I'm guessing there's either some bug that's going around regarding that, or when the beta drops: We've got to download that 33/66GB (Depending if you have COD HQ Installed), even though Pre-Load happened two days ago
Correct me if I am wrong anyone
So I've looked around and apparently if you've installed COD HQ: You've got it downloaded, since COD HQ (for me at least), has downloaded Call of Duty: BO6 (and for me, one part of MW2)
I found this video on YouTube about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V7Xl6Vl2SQ
If you don't want to watch it, basically:
> Load up Call of Duty
> Once your in, press on the Gear Icon to get up the settings pop-up
> Go Manage Files in More
From there, you should see: BO6, MW3, MW2, and DMZ
> If you hover over BO6, and it says uninstall, in comparison to MW3 or MW2 where (for me) it says "Manage Files, Uninstall": Then the Beta should already be loaded and ready to play!
That's what I'm taking from it. I'll keep updated on this when the beta releases
I gained early access to the beta with a code from Comcast, but I had no idea how to install the beta.
Unfortunately it's too late for early access as I just now found this thread. I still wanted to say thanks though and give you both an award.
Thank you again.
EDIT: Sorry AkiraJkr, I gave your award to the wrong comment. My bad.
