Can you not Pre-Load BO6 Beta on steam?

I bought black ops 6 in early July (on steam). And when I open COD HQ I cant find anywhere to pre-load the beta. Is this happening with anyone else?

beta is not a separate download this time and is already part of the main game files, you will get access to it when the beta starts. It was mentioned in the S5R blog post, iirc.

COD HQ now shares all files across all games (what I mean with base files/games), the packs you tick under the dlc section are just extra files wz/mw3 etc needs. I guess the beta is already part of the "base files".
HQ is just as confusing as their communication and you rly can only guess...

I used my xfinity code. downloaded cod HQ. but it still says preorder on the app and i cant preload or preinstall it anywhere. is it just a bug or am i doing something wrong?

nah its fine, even preorders/prepurchase still have preorder now button.
