What exactly does "aim down sight focus" mean?
Looking at the marksman grip for my Tanto and "aim down sight focus" is the only descriptor, and on the details page, it doesn't have an effect on the stats.

It's a button press. If you use the attachment that has the 'focus'. You hold shift while aiming to zero in (similar to holding your breath with snipers) eliminating a LOT of recoil and sway. It's pretty good if you're holding a location but overall, not super useful.

Less sway when aiming down sights.

it allows you to hold breath when aiming down sights, useless imo for anything that doesn't kill in 1-2 shots

In hardcore the Tanto is a one shot one kill.
