Crashing, crashing everywhere......
Crashing on startup, crashing in menu, crashing in game, crashing in campaign, crashing with all the lowest minecraft settings, crashing with high settings, & sometimes loading into the game freezes with a strange fix being alt tabbing (70% crash chance tho). Sometimes I wont experience crashes for a few games and it runs as smooth as butter but it doesnt last long.

Somehow beta's for mw2-3/bo6 are fine then when the game releases its always got me crashing, & after a few months with patches they fix it year after year.

I'm thinking we gotta buy the Vault edition with all the dlc, that might fix the issue because all other fixes don't work. :spacehamster:

for me checking and making my gpu clock speeds werent exceeding my cards refered to boost clocks fixed the issue. my gpu was boosting to 2775 mhz. my card isnt supposed to go past 2535 mhz. so i set max boost to 2500 mhz and i havent seen a crash in 8 hours. mind you i crashed after almost every multiplayer match and everytime i started up campaign

i just read this post, and then stressed tested my gpu 6950xt founders card. it was boosting to a max of 2610 when it was in default settings and would average in the 2450 range duing the test. 3 min long

amd info on there site from what i read says that it should only boost to 2310 i set it to 2300 and we will see where it goes from there

on a side note im dont know enough about clock speeds but it list the boost speeds as 2310 and game speeds as 2100 should be i limiting it to 2310 or 2100?

i limited it to boost speed. i just finished the campaign. so it definetly seems like a temporary fix till we get some kind of update

i tried removing my overclock (3000mhz) and also underclocking (2750mhz) and it did nothing but what did fix my crashes was closing ICUE fully

I kept the clock speed at boost speed, it never exceeded 2610 mhz but it didn't do anything, I just come from another directx error.

All sub folders and folders need to be NOT READ ONLY

C:\Users\!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YOURNAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\Documents\Call of Duty

Or it will crash and do random shizz like updates and corrupt files or just most of the time exit to desktop at 10% of the loading bar...

Make sure to drill down and set them all to NOT read only. Then it just works.. you know like it should.
I crash almost every match despite flawless performance, no lag, and ~300 fps. Happens with every new CoD. (I9 13900K + slightly underclocked 3080 Ti). Its ridiculous and so annoying.:sbangr:

I'm in a similar boat game plays amazing when its not crashing, can play any other game on high-extreme settings without issue. But year after year the first few months of cod always gives me issues until they patch it.
