I discovered this independently and others have done the same. I have worked in IT for years and troubleshooting bugs is something I have a lot of experience in.
Also, something I didn't think of is in geforce experience you will see the correct upscaling setting, not the bugged setting from the in game menu.
checked the config and it's a visual bug as you said.
Thanks for actually checking, so many just argue that it is not a visual bug and that the performance hit since the recent update is directly related to the visual bug.
Either a bug or they activated some copy protection. I also notice the drop in performance.
Comparing the ingame benchmark values the game was way lower on cpu yesterday than it is today.
The only thing that the visual bug is causing is the upscaler/sharpener (in this case DLSS) to be mislabelled as FidelityFX CAS when it is actually DLSS, that is all. The performance issues are still present regardless of the upscaler you use or if you run native, the performance loss is across the board, therefore it is not due to DLSS not working, it is a deeper issue.
Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely a performance issue with this latest update, but it is not related to the visual bug in the video menu.
