I just install new thermal paste. grizzly.
I believe you must change the thermal paste. I'm runing 3dmark again.
It you had a sense your machine struggle with fps up and down, it probably is that.
CoD BO6 uses AVX2 which can cause higher temperature spikes.
No need to adjust your cooling setup or reapply thermal paste.
You might run Cinebench for max. temperature. Anything below 90°C is fine.
its windows power plant messing up with the voltage/power draw on i9
having an i9 13 gen , since last windows update and last realase game , temp going over 85/90°c just because of power plant setting in windows
i just switch to normal ( before it was performance ) and my temp back up to normal
its 2 thinks
last realase AAA ( lazzyness of dev ) tend to use max voltage/power draw for cpu
windows update tend to use always max power draw with heavy voltage on cpu and if you have an intel i9 13/14 gen , your cpu gping overheat ,
AVX offset lowers the clock speed of your CPU while using AVX commands on the CPU to lower temperatures.
