BO6 WATER FLICKERING BUG!!! LETS MAKE THIS KNOWN TO ACTIVISION!!!
I'm seeing several people all over this community hub and on reddit with this issue. Including myself and my buddy. We both are on RTX 4090's and every report im seeing of this is 40 Series users and some Xbox Series X users. My friends that are on 30 Series cards still have not been receiving this issue.

I have noticed cycling between different Upscaling options on every different map will fix this issue, however nobody wants to change their damn settings every time they load a different map. I have no idea how this wide spread of an issue passed testing and got the "Okay" to be released. I have tested nuking my drivers and installing dated drivers as well as using current drivers and have noticed this to be an issue on all of them, as well as reinstalling the game and verifying files. I did find as well if you change other settings as well on specific maps it can also fix the issue however it doesnt fix the issue on every single map, each map requires its own setting selection. Also want to note this is an issue in Zombies as well.

Activision/Treyarch this needs to be a high priority to be fixed and I have a feeling that this DEV team is not going to be active on fixing this issue and it is quite significant.

If anybody has a solution that fixes this issue for every map not just a handful of them please share them below in the event that this does not get patched any time soon. I will be posting this on both the Steam Community hub and on Reddit to try and spread word of this issue as I am enjoying COD game for the first time in years and would very much like to see this resolved as soon as possible.

As the owner of the rtx 4070 card, I confirm that this problem exists on all maps in multiplayer, zombies and storyline. I tried different settings, but the water still constantly flickers when walking, moving the camera. I hope this problem will be fixed very soon.

Literally tabbed out of my game to look around for this. For me, its the textures on clothing (both campaign NPC's and zombies), the little interaction points on walls for campaign and zombies, and the perk sodas that have this problem where they load in SUPER undetailed and blurry, then slowly shift to fix themselves over the course of a minute or so. The only thing that never gets fixed is the screens on some perk soda machines, those stay broken.

This sucks because my game is otherwise flawless performance wise, I only ever get a short micro freeze if I kill a lot of zombies with an explosion, but otherwise everything runs like silk (which shouldn't be a surprise, but with 2024 AAA standards, I'm surprised I can launch the game without a blue screen, so...)

Anyway, any fixes or workarounds are appreciated here! I might try updating my drivers later, but word elsewhere is that people are blaming the launch day drivers for this issue, when I can assure you it's not that specifically, so it probably isn't a step worth taking until maybe newer drivers pop out the pipeline.

For me, it was the Weather Grid Volumes that was causing it, turning it off fixed it.
