Hey so I've been having this issue for the last couple of days, I found a solution, just now.
This might not make sense, but reset your password. Go through that process and then log in again and put in your backup codes and you should be good to go.
Here's a step by step of what I did.
1. I got the white screen
2. Reset password/ entered email for reset link.
3. Put in my "New Password"
4. Attempted to log in again
Side note: One thing I noticed in my previous log in attempts, when you click the I'm not a Robot CAPTCHA checkbox, I didn't have to click the tiles of images of buses and ♥♥♥♥. After resetting my password, I then had to do it. Idk if that means anything, but that was one thing that was different.
5. Click I'm not a Robot, click tiles
6. Click Log in
7. 2fa pops up, Clicked sign in with Backup codes
8. Entered backup codes
9. Logged in.
you are a godsend mate. thank you so much
