I personally recommend buying full price, game pass doesn't have a lot of games that are worth playing and you will end up spending more money in the long term if you decide to keep the subscription.
Removing all the garbage out of the way, COD is just one of those games, where even if the game is bad, grinding out the trash, max level, the camos, and maxing out a weapon is what makes it worth it.
Now Worth the $80? I mean, that's up to what you value. YOU have to be the one to determine that. If you're unsure, wait for the price to drop.
