Its a known issue from the past games, one way to fix it is by changing your activision account name, you can also check on google to find another fix

I had this issue sometime after MW2 (2022), apparently my username was banned so I couldn't change my clan tag till I changed my username. "armedpoop" is now considered profantiy even though I used this name since Cod4, but "armedpoo" is totally A OK. Dunno what your atvi ID is, but consider changing it to see if that fixes it.
