Black Ops 6 - One Drive / Sync settings Controller / GPU, etc
I was experiencing issues of having my controller, gpu and other settings saved on PC. I found a reddit thread that explains if you're using OneDrive and your settings not saving. I confirmed with a Reboot and launched COD and they finally stuck!

https://www.reddit.com/r/blackops6/comments/1ggoenh/fix_for_settings_reset_on_launch_if_you_use/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I've been pretty infuriated with my settings being reset every single time I reboot this game. This is the 24th (I looked it up) Call of Duty game released. You'd think this would be the first thing addressed in the beta twelve games ago, but alas, here we are. What I figured out was that we aren't the victims of a billion-dollar-company's weaponized incompetence. We're the victims of two separate billion-dollar-company's weaponized incompetence.

For the record, I am playing on PC, through Steam. I believe this fix should help anyone playing on PC regardless of if you're using GamePass, Steam, etc.

The Problem
If you use OneDrive, there's two "Documents" folders on your computer:

C:\Users\username\Documents

C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Documents

If you're having problems, I'd bet you a double XP token you have a "Call of Duty" file in the second location, in your OneDrive "Documents". We don't want OneDrive to be able to get its grubby little fingers on our save files. We want our "Call of Duty" save file in the first location. Here's how to do that:

The Fix
Quit COD

OneDrive > Settings > Sync and backup > Manage Backup > Toggle Off "Documents"

Start COD

Your problem should be fixed! You may have to adjust your settings one last time.

You should now have a "Call of Duty" file created in the first location.

Cheers
