Does VPN actually help with SBMM ?
I've heard that using a vpn helps a bit when it comes to confusing the SBMM algorithm and actually getting you into lobby's that are matching you by ping don't know how true it but just wondered if anyone has a better experience in having chilled out games on a vpn then the sweat fest matches

No, for years this has only helped the streamers who try to sell the stuff. Rather the opposite is the case, you usually have a lot more sweat with the VPN.

Will do a bit but dont cry if you get banned since it is agains the TOS of activision and cod since it is considered spoofing ;)

If you aren't a streamer...You Can potentially be banned for Spoofing.

well will probably stay well clear from VPN's in that case rather not get shafted out of £60 and just get used to getting killed as often as i do :steamhappy:

Using traditional VPNs may get you banned and I do not recommend them.
Using 'gaming' or sbmm' VPNs is 100% cheating. DO NOT USE.

It's extremely disappointing that some popular YouTubers are re-selling these SBMM / gaming VPNs that allow players to cheat. Please block any YouTuber who promotes these.

vpn cant help you with SBMM... you can get an advantage by latency yea but not SBMM.
if you want Bot lobbys then get that game 2x, 1 on pc 1 on console, let console at 0 kills and join him in every lobby
I couldn't imagine a VPN doing anything positive for gaming.

There is no legitimate reason for using one.

Helps you play on other regions when there's no proper server select button. I'm using one on Overwatch since EU servers are dead and full of lowskill arabs. EU luckily isn't too bad on cod considering lots of UK players on console populate the server.
