I hear alot about these Direct X crashes, I have 70 hours in Bo6 and have had 0 crashes and errors, allthough Im guessing since it's an Direct X error I would delete the GPU and it's drivers in the Device Manager and restart the PC, then download the newest drivers for the GPU and restart again, also try reinstalling Direct X this should solve the problem if not let me know!

Someone told me to put all my textures at low or very low, didnt crash again after that. Anything that has texture in the graphic settings. Some also recommend lowering vram below 60 if it still doesn't work. Try it and see if it helps at all and lmk.

Man tell me about it this ♥♥♥♥ is getting ridiculous. I get lucky and play for a game or two then the game completely closes on me giving me the error then i'm stuck in a constant reboot loop because it freezes at the Activision intro

Sounds like a PC problem or your drivers, me and my friends have had 0 crashes and no errors with completely diff builds, we talking 40 series, 30 series and 10 series GPU's all of them works fine.

Would recommend trying the full clean reinstall of drivers and direct x, worst case delete the game and test after all of the options.

Trust me it isn't a PC issue. I have a 40 series with the latest drivers i literally re-installed the game already it makes no difference, from what I've noticed it's a Call of Duty issue because i only run into these problems every time a new COD comes out.
And honestly I don't wanna be that guy but issues like this shouldn't even occur everything should be optimized during new releases.
I haven't met anyone who hasn't crashed so i guess you guys are just lucky i suppose.

What version of DirectX do you have installed? Also what GPU do you have and is it updated to the latest driver version?

Same issue nonstop direct X errors. People don’t understand that you don’t install direct X anymore. It’s baked into windows. I haven’t been able to play any call of duty since season three of Warzone and I bought Black ops six thinking they would have this fixed. When every other game on your PC runs flawless, but this is the only one giving an error. It’s not your PC. It’s the game.

Clean install of Windows 11 24H2 and latest Nvidia drivers…

Gtx 1080 Ti

If it was the game then 200k people would have had the issue, i know it's frustrating to be one of the few that gets these crashes alot but me and 4 of my friends got no issues at all even with 1070 GTX all the way up to 4080 SUPER, no errors and no crashes so it's something with the PC or duped drivers etc, game is fine and works like a charm.
If you are on steam try launch option: -dx11

Still randomly get the DirectX error on my 4090 as well. The only other game that ever crashed like this for me was Jedi Survivor near release when on a specific planet with RT enabled. And I believe they fixed that issue by now.

Just got a crash and I checked the crash log and it told me that radeonsoftware.exe or smt so I uninstalled the amd software and it works again now. Launched Star Citizen and while it downloaded the game crashed again but that makes sense, after the download was done I had no more issues.
