Weird ban in mw3 ?? wth is this

Hey !

Maybe someone could help me understand this ban, would be much appreciated!

"your account has been permanently banned for unauthorized software and manipulation of game data"

So I bough the game last night, downloaded it and opened it up this morning.
Some things to add before. ---when I opened it up it wanted me to log in, which I tried but I couldn't remember my password(?) so I did the recover password thingy. So when I got a new password I logged in and it wanted me to change my last username(Which I'm guessing is from MW Warzone, which I had on battlenet)

I changed it and got in, tried to find games but couldn't find any games! Which I thought was weird, so I assumed I maybe have to finish download the shaders, which I did and when I came back to the computer I got the message that I'm "permanently banned".

What the hell could cause this? Never cheated, I haven't downloaded or visited any weird websites.
Didnt even play a second of a match...

Anyone has any experience with this? Sad to buy a game and get banned 10 minutes later, for no reason?
Any known programs that could cause this?

All I had open was Battlenet, spotify and my Email.

Maybe first of all stop cheating and secondly stop believing people are so stupid to believe you with that permaban. which is even less credible than a shadow ban

Good luck on here with ban questions, not the most sympathetic bunch. Usually guilty until proven otherwise.

And of course Activisions anti cheat is flawless and doesn't get it wrong ever 🙄 (apart from some recent posts where uses have had bans lifted)

Anyway, have you got any games trainers installed for other games? Doesn't matter what game, thst can get you banned. Or cracks for games or apps, or cheat engine even.

It doesn't matter what program they are for, they will still get you banned.

I have had Spotify open while playing Call of Duty for years.

Maybe your account was hacked and the cheater cheated on your account and got your account banned,

Anyway, abandon multiplayer games, they are evil and a waste of time. Play good single player games only, Nintendo games maybe but most certaintly, go play the game of IRL and punch your useless desktop monitor with a hammer,
