Yeah that wasn't the smartest move they could have made, they could have just said Cod coins, CC instead. The existing term is police shorthand for, well you know. Tbh companies like microsoft scrapped their own coins/currency (Microsoft points) and just switched to cash. Instead of CP just give store credit equal to the value of the coins or something when you earn them from the battle pass. Just makes things simpler

When they first introduced the name for their points, people spoke out against the abbr for them. After all these years, they still don't care.

They don't even transfer between different COD games. They will not carry over to BO6 and will be most likely wiped out on Warzone when the game transfers to BO6

This isn't true. However bo6 will have woods operator pack. Mw2 and mw3 content won't carry over to bo6. Your cod points will. The carry forward feature was dead in the water when it came out no one likes it.

CP should be account bound to our Activision accounts.
It's quite annoying that it splits up between steam, xbox etc.
It's not like we can revert CP back/refund to the previous currency.

You paid for it on that platform you can't expect it to be on a different platform and that platform will complain that they aren't getting money because you have over 1,000 cod points. This current way they get their money.

Most games have in-game currency account bound and not platform bound, else in-game currency gets split up all over the place. It's very inconvenient. Also you cant refund in-game currency and the platform makes cash on your purchase not after the fact.

It would be completely different if it was Xbox Currency or Steam Currency, but it's not it's a COD In-Game currency, which is completely worthless other than using it to buy skins. It's not like we can go and use these COD Points to a Xbox Game or a Steam Game.

The platforms make money when you buy cod points. Some people have over 1,000 cod points saved up. This will result in platforms not making their money.

I completely understand what you mean though but it very unlikely for them to do this because of this.

They do however carry operators and stuff you buy with cod points over on your Activision account but they are tied to that specific game and warzone temporarily.
