error code: DIVER
is anyone else getting this error? since the beginning of season 5 i've been unable to play. i have try everything, resetting my connection settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the integrity of game files and nothing works. The Activision support page has no articles releted to this error.

I got the fix for in game crashing, its regarding the activation account region , there is a problem with MIDDLE EAST(GCC) , and some part of Europe region, try to change the region to US for both activation and steam account,

Actually i have the same problem, and when i tried to login using my friend account on US region, the game work perfectly with no crashing

Try this solution and if its work for you, share the fix with others

Thank you for answering. sadly, i try this solution and still the game gives the same error. maybe it is an issue releted to the game being on game pass? anyway, thank you for helping.

Right clicking call of duty then properties then verify integrity of files. Then run game.

Try reinstalling the game.

If it continues could be network error or server error for your region.

You can also contact Activision and they can assist you

Manage to get in game but every time it prompts restart the game it just hangs and crashes it also prompts to verify files which I did several times still back in game and same thing happens. Sent a report on website.

I finally manage to fix the issue. I had to uninstall and reinstall steam and that fix it. My guess is that probably some file in the directory got corrupted or something

Update.
Forget it. Now I’m getting crashing errors before getting into the menu. I give up. This game is unplayable now. I think it’s because Xbox game pass

If you're on PC try starting the game up through your GPU menu. That worked for me.

Game pass has nothing to do with you crashing. Unless your using game pass then you need to contact Xbox or Activision or both. Typically it will show on game pass if there is any network outages.

If you receive a error code just Google search mw3 error [enter name ] and attempt those steps.

Make sure PC is updated to latest, make sure you meet requirements. Submit a crash report.

Attempt whatever the fix is when you search error code.

Consoles would be easier as everyone will be on same specs, PC your not so it not easy fixes.
