SHADER'S PRE-LOADING?
Does anyone else have to re install shaders at least once every ten or so times they boot the game up? I have checked and it is just cache files that are being installed, but why is this happening so often. Also sometimes when this happens it resets all of my graphics settings. Am I the only person having this issue on PC?

I also have to wait a rediculous amount of time with the game open to install these shaders every time. I moved the game from an MVME drive to a SSD drive thinking there was a problem with the drive. No there is no problem with the drive. It just takes these shaders so long to process.

See that you have a min of 35 GB free space on systemdisk C:

Make sure you have steam on systemdisk and the game, if you have enough space for the game too. Install steam in c:/Program files (x86)

Yeah this is not the case but thanks for the assistance. I have plenty of room on the drive that the game is installed on 180+G. Also I have confirmed that every time I change my graphics settings it is fine for that session, but when I exit the game and relaunch it. New shaders need to be downloaded and my graphics settings under quality are all reset.

I have confirmed that my drives are fine, and my video card is not crashing. At this point if this continues to happen I will have to stop playing the game. I have just reinstalled the entire game and will try again. But after this I will just stop playing the game and never purchase another one of these games again. They got me for about $90. But they will never get me again.

First time I have played a COD game in the better part of a decade maybe more. They are console developers nothing more nothing less. PC ports are really bad for these games.

So I did a search in the steam forums for shaders and found that in the last 4 days, a lot of people have been having this issue. So my guess is it is due to the last couple updates. You think that with what happened with crowdstrike that companies would be more vigilant about their patches.

It could be that you have a corrupted installation of the game.
REinstalling will NOT fix it....

When you uninstall, you must delete the cod folder in you Doc folder, and in
c/users/yourname/appdata/local/activision/ - delete the call of duty folder.
Use Ccleaner to clean up in win register for all cod HQ files.

And, the +35GB free space on systemdisk C: - is important for preloading of shaders, even if the game is on another disk. Also used for temp loading when you play the game.
