Cant get rid of Packet Loss/Burst

i have a fairly good internet connection, no packet burst and or loss in any other game, its only this game and i dont know how to get rid of it, plz help

same mate I got a nice internet connection and speed test before loading game - and just get ♥♥♥♥ servers sometimes. Suspect its their skills based matchmaking

and its only cod mw games, the black ops games work perfectly fine, after a lot of years beeing out

hit reg seems off as well, i have 12-20 ms ping and sometimes the first 3 shots don't always seem to register at all, ive had meany times today where ive hit at least half a mag dead centre mass from about 10 ft and nothing registers and ive had moments that i seem to kill in one shot its absolutely stupid

oh no worries, the better you do the tinier the hitbox gets, its a feature of the sbmm

he literally just said its not his wifi its the games servers. thousands of people are dealing with it

i wouldnt try to fix it. clear your ram each time u play seems to help with my packet loss

Fought for a very long time with this issue. Wound up being an issue with Windows page file. Changing the size eliminated all of the packet loss for me.

the fact that everyone i'm playing with gets the packet burst/latency warnings at the same time as me implies it's not a local issue ie. VRAM not set at 100%, etc

believe it or not packet burst and extrapolation can happen in this game for cpu and gpu running hot or not working properly. I had the same issue but it went away after I cleaned my PC then it came back again after installing the latest AMD gpu driver so went back to the old AMD driver and the game is now working perfectly.
