bo6 beta question

will the beta be a addon for the base mw game or will it be its own game?. if it is a add on what cod file will i need installed?

Can someone explain to me why i just bought BO6 and its prompted me to download Call of duty ? Like what is Call of Duty ? i just payed for BO6 what is this ?

Why have they made it so confusing ? i cant stand it ! your telling me i have to have mutliple Call of duty games installed just to play BO6, if thats the case im refunding

'Call of Duty' is HQ i think, all HQ games launch under the same path

YEAH MAN! you can play right away the moment you buy it. right away, infact you get a better experience if you got banned in a previous title.

You don't have to have multiple call of duty to play black ops 6. Black ops 6 is a complete new game sperate from other call of duty's.

i think the reason it's called a DLC is partly due to the complication that Steam simply calls CoD's on HQ 'Call of Duty' (it doesn't say MW3 in the library), and so that boots HQ which is essentially the launcher for whatever DLC / Game you own

maybe, but what might really be a complication is all HQ CoD games needing to be installed on the same drive

Like what Jez said the cod hq only listed the call of duty games as a dlc in order to make a convenient all in one launcher (but yet it's very bad). This way you can launch all the call of duty's in one launcher l besides quiting each time to launch a different call of duty.

Hey, so you have to download a game " Call of Duty". Its just a launcher for the BO6 and wont have any other game in it if you havent paid for them( except warzone). When you install the COD HQ you have to download BO6 through it.(cod hq is the same as the Call of duty)
