Husband got PERM banned for no reason

My hubby and I were playing cod and he gets perma banned out of the blue... He doesnt have any cheats on his laptop and he also plays on PS5 as well, only laptop for travelling. He had Prime Video open in the background and we think the bot assumed this to be malware, because thats what got him banned supposedly. The match we played literally 5 seconds before he got banned, we were random matchmade with a hacker on our team.. We shouldve just left, but we stayed and spam reported the hacker. Unwise decision unfortunately.. Cod wont let him reappeal, he also had multiple seasons of battlepass, and 100s$ of skins on the acc. In no way shape or form would he have spent this money if he was cheating. I am just tired of Activision being a cash grabbing cheater ridden game.. Is there really no other way for him to appeal? will we just have to spam their email until we get a human contact?

Why are you making this post for your husband? Why can't he make this post himself? Something is completely off with your story. You won't instantly get banned for being matched up with a cheater. Amazon Prime won't throw a false detection. The fact you're making this post for your husband makes no sense to me. You're also throwing a lot of childish insults for a woman. Most women I know simply just walk away and don't waste time or energy on the immature comments made at them. Doesn't add up. I would think the guy who was actually affected from the ban to be the one inquiring about it.........

no, its happening to people, my friend Tim got banned and i go to his house and play. literally banned for nothing {suspicious program in background}, and i built his pc. All he has is cod and studio apps for making music.

Then my money is on the fact that he pirated those studio apps and they have a background server running to prevent the call home DRM , and thus hes banned, this is given that what you say is true. People need to learn how Kernel level anti cheat works. if you steal other software you are risking a ban because of how those other programs circumvent there DRM, and that is being detected as a Cheat, because it is.

Can confirm that having pirated software don't ban you, its legal to pirate in aus btw.

These people don't realize that sometimes hardware can trigger anti-cheats for no reason. Intel under fire for this. (Not just triggering anti-cheat but a host of other issues as well.)

MW3 doesn't use VAC. Activision can't VAC ban you. Nice try though cheater

Activision, will never reverse this ban. Only way to 'reverse' Husband ban is to change husband.

He IS on my friends list, but you simply can't see it because he doesnt have a public page. Crazy how people like you will just make sht up and roll with it with 0 context

Look, you know he cheated in the game, you probably also cheat and just don't give a ♥♥♥♥. That simple. The fact that one of your friends on your steam has 30% of THEIR friends vacbanned which in turn have probably hundreds of their friends vac banned, means that you're definitely associated yourself with cheaters who just have dozens of alt accounts ready to go.

oh hey I remember I played against your husband once... I think he was rigidly abusing aim assist... or it was the perfect lock on my head with mouse...? can't be sure right now... but I reported him just in case and I guess his aim assist abuse led him to the ban he deserved. this is what happens when you use aim assist too much...

first off if who ever got banned why you making a post in the community instead of sending a ticket in what does making a post in the community do for you why u telling us send a support ticket in to the devs
