Husband got PERM banned for no reason

My hubby and I were playing cod and he gets perma banned out of the blue... He doesnt have any cheats on his laptop and he also plays on PS5 as well, only laptop for travelling. He had Prime Video open in the background and we think the bot assumed this to be malware, because thats what got him banned supposedly. The match we played literally 5 seconds before he got banned, we were random matchmade with a hacker on our team.. We shouldve just left, but we stayed and spam reported the hacker. Unwise decision unfortunately.. Cod wont let him reappeal, he also had multiple seasons of battlepass, and 100s$ of skins on the acc. In no way shape or form would he have spent this money if he was cheating. I am just tired of Activision being a cash grabbing cheater ridden game.. Is there really no other way for him to appeal? will we just have to spam their email until we get a human contact?

Protect your account with 2FA. I 100% bet you didn't have it on. Doesn't matter if you play on PS5 or PC. Hackers get into your account, add their platform to it and play with cheats. Then you get banned and you wonder why. This is why, because you didn't protect your account with 2FA. Not only on Activision account but all mails accounts. 2FA everything from now on.

Convenient you just happened to join a random game with a random cheater and then he was banned. Sounds like you're trying to put the guilt on some made up party, if that happened at all. Too bad he didn't clip anything on the PS5. I would have just to provide evidence there was nothing go on.
