Voice chat ban -

Weirdest thing.
Party can hear me in the lobby - but the moment the game loads, silence - they can't hear me anymore.
I am voice chat banned for calling someone an alternative word for a bundle of sticks, justified comment as they were a blatant cheater and I think Activision should allow extenuating circumstances such as that - but that is another topic.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
So just to be clear -
- Voice chat banned
- Party can hear me fine in the lobby, we can talk
- Moment game loading screen goes on - I can hear party, party cannot hear me.

That's how it works. Party can hear you in private. When the game starts it's public, you are banned. I have successfully reported many people.

No what I mean is -
the party can hear me in the lobby but the party CAN'T hear me when the game loads.
Another party member is chat banned.
We can communicate with him in game?

This game is made from snowflakes to snowflakes, it's why they ban that easy ..when it comes to community it's mostly all the woke 2024 thing.

Same here, happened to me yesterday. Team can hear me in lobby but not once loaded into match. All on friends list as well.

I am having this same issue. I'm on a 3 day comms ban due to some stupid kid... The update happened on Wednesday and now this. I have toggled everything.... I have checked every setting.... It has to be associated with the ban now... They are ruining this game with this stuff... If they want to implement this, they just need to rate the game TEEN at this point... It's turning into Fortnite...

People have to unmute you to actually hear you. That's why you see so many ppl with [unmut] clan tags.

No, it has not. I have friends that are comm banned but can still talk to our party/friends while both in pre-game lobby and in-game.

Step by step information:
Join my friends party.
I can hear them and they can hear me in PRE GAME LOBBY ONLY.
Once we get into the game, I can still hear everybody (even the other team) but they cannot hear me.
I do not have a mute symbol by my name. I am unmuted for them.
I have toggled all audio settings
I have checked to make sure both my PC audio settings and in game audio settings are set correctly.

I have now submitted a ticket for more detailed information as to why this is happening.
I am currently on a 3 day ban but like I said previously... I have other friends who are also comm banned but they are unmutable. I've never had a comm ban in MW3 until this week. I will update once I hear back from Activision...

Exactly we have the same issue.
My friend is actually vc banned too and I can hear him without unmuting him - so it's just me.

UPDATE: My 3 day ban is over. Everything is back to normal.

Conclusion: This is a new chat ban feature... BEWARE! It really sucked not being able to talk to ANYBODY!
