Memory leak
After yesterday update this game is consuming all my RAM, which means I have freezes all the time and Task Manager tells that COD is taking 15gb RAM, it's a HALF of what I have.

Might want to start with saying how much RAM you have, I have 64gb and this isnt an issue for me- To OP, 15gb is normal for mw3 isnt it?

Again sounds like a re-run of MW II. 😂

Will it help by expanding the virtual memory of the disk? It's the only thing that comes to mind. The same thing happens to me 97% ram usage

I figured it was a memory leak just by watching the task manager and watching it just start using more and more ram as time went on just sitting on the main menu.

Jesus Christ activision needs a reset of developers.....

This is actually a memory leak. It's something they introduced in the latest updates and it's not about how cheap your hardware is or whatever. I'm running pretty high end stuff and it's still happening to me. My friend's said cod is taking over 20 gigabytes of ram right now from their pc's. I have 16 gb and that's been fine for this game and the last game that is basically the same game for the last few years. It just seems to be a problem for certain hardware but not for others.

It's not based off of how much ram you have. I have friends with 32 gigs that the game takes over 20 gb of ram on their pc's and starts to stutter after a while. I have 16 gb and have been running mw3 maxed out and mw2 maxed out for the last few years at 144 hz 1440p no problem. I think they just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up that really made the game unstable on certain hardware and it's messing up the game for a lot of people right now.
