Why TF would I be banned? I've played COD for years....from the beginning. between CODM and the console games....im into the thousands. yeah i know its a lot when you add it all up...but like i said ive been playing for years. I dont cheat.never have and now Im banned for no f.......ing reason? Thank you...Im going to check this out now.
This is BS! They make literally millions to billions on this game and they continue to jerk us around.
Yup.... they banned me and wont let me appeal. im pissed.
You never can appeal them. Limited Matchmaking is not the same as an outright game ban. You will still be able to play but you have better chances at finding matches in something such as Shipment 24/7.
I've been shadowbanned (now termed as Limited Matchmaking) in both Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III without having done anything wrong. I understand you're upset because I was too. I know I don't cheat so I was in complete shock the first time that it happened to me.
If you truly have done nothing to violate the Terms of Service, try not to be upset or worry about it too much. You're going to be placed in a 200 ms lobby and encounter a mix of blatant hackers and cheaters but also legitimate and innocent players who all have their accounts under review. Just play matches as you normally do whenever you get in and it will be lifted in about a week.
Thank you
Ive been playing CODM and warfareMobile and took a break from playing on console and laptop. Got really busy with work and life. I was excited to get MW3, 1. because CODM wants you to pay hundreds for anything legendary or "mythic." since Ive been playing MW3 its been a pain in the butt. from daily crashes to now this BS. Banning people without giving a reason is some janky ish.
Call of Duty has never termed this penalty as a "shadowban" - As of Modern Warfare III they have officially now defined it as "limited matchmaking" - I'm not sure who coined the term shadowban but because it has the word "ban" it leads to misunderstanding and false implications.
Yeah, I totally understand. I felt pretty bad to have it happen to me on the final week of The Haunting Event last October. Every time I queued into The Haunting 24/7 it actually changed it to Shipment 24/7 and I didn't get to really enjoy the event.
The second time was during the launch week of Modern Warfare III and I had pre-ordered the Vault Edition. In a way I'm glad that it had already happened so I had some experience with it or else I might have been pretty upset to be mistreated after making such a commitment.
I don't blame you I've been playing call of duty since the very first game. I have many fond memories of world at war. And now it would seem they are punishing players for supporting there games. I'm not even a very good player I don't understand why I keep getting shadow banned. I'm wondering if other players are getting mad and falsely reporting us.
